Beach towels are some of the more personal items we take to the beach, such as to the panhandle of Florida or even to Aruba.

Children may lean to having beach towels with their favorite cartoon character or super hero. As they walk through the parking lot and down the beach path, they like to let others see their beachtowels, sometimes while holding the towel as a cape used by a super hero pictured on the towel.

And as he or she grows, the cartoon character may give way to favorite college or professional sports teams or some other topic. Color schemes may give away the favorite team, especially if a local or regional beach is visited. However, the farther the team beach towel travels from its original source, the less likely that many of the teams represented will even be recognized.

Later the design may tend to change to other topics including patterns or solid colors as well as to professional racing teams and the like.

Nothing can be worse, in the eyes of some, than to have to carry a towel that depicts something that is embarrassing. For example, a young teen may not want to carry a towel of showing a cartoon superhero. And the young one who owns the superhero towel sees no excitement in carrying a towel associated with music.

Some towel designs may be more acceptable to larger groups of people. For example, a beach towel with Snoopy on it is more likely to be carried by more people than a towel of a popular singer who fell out of popularity, especially if the singer was not very popular with many to start with.

One of the many benefits of beach bags is the ability to carry all the necessary lotions and medicines which may be necessary to make the beach visit more enjoyable, in addition to the hiding of those towel designs you would rather just not share with others who may see you heading down to the beach.
