Aruba is an island in the Caribbean and about 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela. Aruba has over 40 miles of coastline and it rains little. Aruba was once part of the Netherlands Antilles. It is autonomous from the Netherlands but is not fully independent.
Beach areas in Aruba include Arashi Beach, Baby Beach, Boca Catalina, Dos Playa, Druif Beach, Eagle Beach, Hadicurari (Hadikurari), Malmok Beach, Manchebo Beach, Mangel Halto, Palm Beach, Punto Brabo, Rodgers Beach, Sonesta Island, Surfside Beach, and more. Many of the beaches are remote and not easy to get to.
