Croatia is in southern Europe with a long shoreline on the Adriatic Sea. There are over a thousand islands off its western coast, and these include Brac, Brijuni Islands, Cres, Elaphite Islands, Hvar, Korcula, Krk, Losinj, Mljet, Pag, Rab, and Vis.

Croatia has over 3,500 miles of coastline, most of which are on the many islands. One of the more popular beaches is Golden Horn (Zlatni Rat) which is on the island of Brac.
