Popular beaches are those beaches which immediately come to mind when most of us think of beaches.

These may also be the beaches only an hour away from where we live and where we can take those needed short breaks to go jump in the water. Or a popular beach may be where you and all your friends go when given a vacation from school or work, you climb into your cars, and the excitement builds as you get closer a few hundred miles away..
