Georgia has about a hundred miles of beaches along the Atlantic Ocean in the southeastern United States. Beaches in Georgia include Blackbeard Island National Wildlife Refuge Beach, Bradley Beach, Butter Been Beach, Clam Creek Beach, Cumberland Island National Seashore, Jekyll Island, King's Ferry Beach, Little Cumberland Island Beach, Massengale Station Beach, Sapelo Island, Sea Island, Polk Street Beach, Reimolds Pasture, St. Andrews Station Beach, St. Catherines Island, St. Simons Island, Skidaway Narrows Beach, South Dunes Beach, South Ossabaw, Strand Beach, Tybee Island Beach, Wassaw Island Beach, and Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge Beach. Georgia's counties along the Atlantic Ocean include Bryan, Camden (northern end), Chatham (southern end), Glynn, Liberty, and McIntosh which are in the Atlantic Coastal Plain of Georgia. Some islands in Georgia include Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, Ossabaw Island, St. Catherines Island, St. Simons Island, Sapelo Island, Sea Island, Tybee Island, and Wassaw Island. Cumberland Island National Seashore is a barrier island off the coast of Georgia with beautiful beaches, forests, and marshes. Interstate 75 to the south leads to beaches of Florida. Interstates 20 and 85 to the east and north lead to Interstate 95 for heading to beaches north of Georgia. Interstate 85 to the south leads to the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
